There will be no pickup of Garbage on Thursday November 24, 2022 or Friday November 25, 2022

All Trash services will resume on Monday November 28, 2022, as normal.

For residents who can’t wait for garbage pick-up to occur after a holiday, a household may opt to bring garbage to the Lake County Landfill located in Tavares on County Road 561 physical address 13130 County Landfill Rd., Tavares, FL 32778

Disposal of household trash is FREE for any Town of Howey-in-the-Hills resident with a valid ID. Call ahead for hours of operation at 352-343-3776 (this is not a town facility).
