Hurricane Dorian-Announcments

Hello Residents,

 

The Town of Howey-in-the-Hills would like to announce that we will be communicating via our Town Website (Hurricane Dorian-Updates) and our email blast.

There will also be secondary communication disseminated through the Library and Police Department Facebook pages along with the next door app.

 

The Town Water Plant has full redundancy and our Utility Supervisor is on stand by.

 

The Howey-in-the-Hills Police Department will be in direct communication with the Lake County Emergency Operations Center.

 

Sandbags are available at the following locations:

As of now shelters are not open, however it is good to know the locations of the shelters in preparation for the storm.
